Hello
Just got the quartz pedal, the shoe is a specialized comp carbon, that i very worn in the sole-height, so i mounted the cleat, but it sits very hight i the sole, and i can feel it when walking, that was never a deal when i used time atac cleats.
So i can i use the thin metal shim that also came with the cleats, just alone ??? -so the cleat does not sit taller than the soloe tread ??? or ??

the shims are interchangeable to get "just so", cleat position. bit of a faff but spot on when they are sorted.
