Do you mean Gt Sca Fell at the back o skiddaw? Up mine tracks onto High Pike, head around past Lingy Hut and up over Knott, then follow your nose. You can also go over Gt Cockup (if memory serves).

i think it is good when dry....just been told that by a mate.
rode the dales on sunday on similar stuff, i were ok.

I'm busy with family stuff I think - will let you know if not. On sunday I'd park at the Peter House (bottom of Dash Falls) and head along road north towards Ormathwaite. Use the bridleway to get onto Great Cockup, traverse south side of Meal Fell and push on to Gt Sca Fell. Don't miss the left turn after the steep bit off the summit. Probably have a strava log if any use?
