[Closed] Long Weekend trips to The Alps? Reccommendations?

The past few years I've been lucky enough to spend a week every summer riding with mates in the French Alps. For various reasons that, sadly, won't happen this year. I'm now looking into the possibility of a 4 day trip, probably on my lonesome. Well versed with the Port du Soleil area, open to go further afield as long as I can fly from Edinburgh or Glasgow. The main problem I can foresee is trying to shoehorn myself into someone else's week...

Just wondered if anyone had done something similar and if so, which holiday companies/resorts? (and how much!?)
