Can the collective suggest a place I can take the wife and our bikes for a romantic, sunny, long weekend, kid free, with some trail riding, preferably on the continent. It is her birthday after all 😉

Put the travel ££'s towards a couple of nights at a nice Lakes hotel? Drunken Duck? Or, Peebles Hydro for sauna, pool etc?
We live in Northern Ireland, happy to fly, happy to stretch budget...
For nice weather it's gotta be spain but a long weekend for cycling flying away means if you're proposing friday to monday you're losing 2 days out to travelling and sorting things out, plus you'll be riding bikes that aren't your own. iiwy I'd go somewhere in the UK with your own bikes and stay in a top notch spa hotel. Torridon? Lake District? but then you're not guaranteed the weather. Tough call but nice that you have the choice.

Cripsy we recently stayed at the Drunken Duck - very nice - it is 40% cheaper midweek and may already be booked weekends.

If the Lake District doesn't suit consider Peak, riding is a bit easier, not sure how tough you are looking for it

Arrive on Friday morning, leave Monday evening and you can have 4 days of fully guided biking paying for just 3 nights.
As we are just 20 minutes from the airport we´ll collect you and have you on the trails just an hour after arrival.
