I've bought a set of wheels and I've gone to fit my cassette and the lockring just turns. The first few threads have stripped so I'm hoping I can get a longer lockring rather than buy a new free hub.

Have you fitted an extra spacer by accident?

The token alu ones are a bit deeper than stock shimano ones.

Andyl - good idea but no as it went straight off the stock hub onto the one that's bust.
Andysmiff - I've seen those, will get one to try. Thanks.
