[Closed] London/Edinburgh/London Audax

Just ran into this mob whilst on my regular Sunday wibble. Odd I thought as I passed a man with a big saddle bag/bar bag/lights. Even odderer I though as I passed many more of the same and with 'race' numbers followed by faired HPV's, tandems, tricycles, recumbents oh, and solos.

It transpires they pass right through the village at about the 80 mile mark. Today they are 3-4 hours ahead of schedule due to the howling southerly blowing them up country. Only another 770 miles to go <gulp> 😯

Good on em. No pansy Sportive riders were seen here 🙂
