Doing some kind of Charadee run as have been roped into this by the missus.

Holds no fears but I need some tyres for the MTB as I don't fancy using off road tyres.

Have fat rims D521's so in short I need very cheap fast rolling tyres that will work on the rims any suggestions?

Kojak's are fat and slick.

I've got some part worn Halfords (Kenda) kevlar semi slicks that are about 2" wide - £12 posted if you don;t find anythign else. lukeDOTburstowAThotmailDOTcoDOTuk

edit: ah, thought I'd replied but see this is a double post!

won't you need different tyres for the cycle back though via the Surrey Hills?

those 26 * 1.3" sport contacts on-one are selling look good value. I've got them, they're a bit heavy and difficult to get on the rim, but much faster than mtb tyres and very puncture proof.
