These guys look good: Armourtex but should I be considering anyone else?

Anywhere really but West London is better, thanks

Only ever heard good things about Armourtex.

Great thread here (LFGSS) with gallery and probably links and reviews of other London based powdercoaters.

Armourtex did my inbred, very good job, threads all clean, quick turnaround and a tough finish. The guy behind the counter when I dropped the frame in recognised it as an inbred (it had a nother poor respray on it) and was saying he'd just got an alfine so they know their bikes. I used some place in mitcham for an old tt frame but it was not a patch on them. There's somebody out in crayford, I think, who does Roberts's painting

I used adept finishers near Croydon, pleased with them and the guy who did it used to build frames for TJ Quick!

Cost £70 I think

Great, will be making a trip over there way soon then.

Do you think they'll be able to pop out or fill a 5mm dent on a steel frame?

Might try this, but not sure it will work on narrow steel tubing

Have just had my Stiffee coated by the boys at Armourtex (oo er) and they've done a terrific job.

Cost £70.50, dropped off one Saturday morning and collected it the next.

Top marks from me, wouldn't go anywhere else.

Owen
