AMAZING!

had a problem with my rp23 - loco offered me to send in the shock just to have a look at (as i wasnt just sure it was a service issue, and perhaps something more)....in the end as its had a hard summer and winter i thought sod it for £55 ill send it in and have it serviced anyways...

turns out that the rod inside had broke, so needed a new part, which loco dont stock as seperate internal bits....not a problem, was informed straight away, loco then hand dellivered my shock to mojo that night, and the service had to be done at mojo (in order to get this rod part)...he then picked it up for me next day and i had it first thing on friday morning sat on my desk ready for the weekend!

serisouly what top service and a top guy! ok i had to pay for the service which was dearer at mojo than loco, but i would have had to do that anyways, due to this rod! im so chuffed, he could have easily said 'sod this' sent it back to me, and then told me i need to send to mojo....he didnt, he went out of his way to take it himself and pick it himself, with little profit involved (due to service having to be done at mojo).....

and upon receiving it, its like new, new decals the lot! back on the bike, and it literally feels like new, everything is working properly, its super smooth and i got it back in time for a big ride today!

all in all, with service like that, i hope the man goes a long way and makes a good living out of it, some local shops could really take a leaf out of his book and have service like that! emails answered within minutes, phone calls to let you know exactly whats what when needed....and superb next day delivery should you need it urgently!

i cant thank him enough for his help, i hope alot of you guys go on to send in your shocks/forks to him if they are due and you dont fancy doing it yourself like me....

seriously cheers for reading, and praise where praise is due!

thanks again Simon!

I've used Loco recently as well and been mighty impressed.

Had problems with my Talas 32 that turned out to be scored Talas rod. £400 odd to fix at Mojo. After asking on here I was recommended to speak to Loco about a Float conversion.

Had no idea this could even be done but spoke to Simon who talked me through the options and £110 and 3 days later the Floatified forks were back with me fully serviced. As the forks were already at Mojo I spoke to them about the same conversion but would have been more than twice the price!

Great service and great pricing, what's not to like.,?

On the other hand i sent them two emails via their website asking for a quote on a set of new (expensive) forks, and didnt get a reply. 😐

Simon was really helpful when I was asking loads of questions on here about my DHX Air and emailed me about it even tho there was no money in it for biomedical because it was about home servicing it. I was almost a little dissapointed that it all went to plan because I wanted to give him some business.

Hi, that's rather strange as I do keep on top of my mails, although we did have an issue with the mail system for a day or so a while back. I there's anything you need in the future don't hesitate to mail me or give me a call at the workshop.

As for all the other posts, thanks everyone 😀 it's nice to know I'm doing something right! 😉

Hi Tricky, no I don't do the Specialized 'own brand' stuff, Specialized or Tf are best bet.

Loco, do you service 888wc with the ata cartridge, mine seem to have stuck down and only showing 160 of stancion to the min setting.

Hi Ian, no sorry I won't touch ATA carts. and neither do TF as they're a bit of a nightmare, you'd have to send them to Windwave to sort, sorry.
Any other 888's no problems.

If you look on MTBR suspension forum there's an ATA repair/removal thread.

Yup, a big thanks to Simon for the help he gave me with my float shock. Very quick turnaround and quality work.

Well never used people for servicing, but someone who is currently rebuilding a SRX 600 must be a good person surely?
