As above really. Got it out this morning and it is not working properly. It only seems to reduce travel by about 10mm and won't hold down.
Any quick fixes? I've never messed with the insides of these and i'm just about to leave for wales!

Oils leaked out or its been on its side in transit and needs cycling up and down a few times to drive trapped air out the damper
I'll thy that, cheers buddy. It gas den stored on it's side and I did notice oil last time I got it out of the car, assumed it was brake fluid though as i'd popped the pistons out. It does round squelchy so i'm hoping you're right!
The oil comes out of mine under very heavy compression or landings, its only a tiny amount and looks worse than it is. its not needed topping up in 3 months.
Dont forget to cycle through the full stroke
As above, pump the forks to get the oil where it should be 🙂
Thanks lads, the above worked in just a couple of cycles. Sadly it only lasted about 2 mins, the lockout dail won't stay down now. I'm going to play with the threshold adjuster tomorrow and see if that helps.
