Do you grease the locking rings like the shifter or brake attachments to the bar or leave them dry?
just wondering....

Bit of carbon paste if they're carbon bars, otherwise just dry.

Never greased any attachments - levers, shifters or lock-on collars - on the bars, not even the bolts, And to be honest, I've never heard of anyone doing so.
I nip them up tight enough so they don't move in normal use, but still allows them to turn in the event of a crash.
