I'm going to presume no issues, given brake and shifters also have to be clamped on.....

Yep, just don't do them up too tight (obviously).

No issues, however beware that you can't use end caps (like this: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=10471).

Reason being that with normal lock-on collars the screw tightens the collar around the bar; with end caps, the screw screws into the bar material and crushes the carbon. Expensive mistake to make!
