Basically is it OK to use ODI lockon gribs on Monkeylight bars?

Yes, I asked Easton a good while ago and they said it was OK. ODI on the other hand didn't reply at all.

Are you thinking of fitting brakes or gear levers to those Monkeylite bars?

Yup, they will be fine. Best to use a torque wrench or just nip them up tight enough so they don't slip.

Only type of lock ons to avoid with carbon bars are the type where the scerw tightens onto the bar (or pad first), as long as they are clamp type like ODI its no problem..

Just be careful not to overtighten them, we had a new set returned a while back with a crushed end caused by this. Not normally a problem, just something to be aware of.
