[#7585081]

Following on from the what 29er to fit 650B+ wheels and the Hardcore 650B frames threads....

What 650B frames are there about at the moment? Requirements are hardtail, 120-130mm fork, steel or maybe a good alu, ideally 650B+ clearance, proper BB shell, dropper compatible, ideally 142/or Boost rear end. Under £500 (ideally £3-400). Complete with moon on stick.

I'm putting together a list for a mate. And not for me to start considering at all...

So far I've got

Cotic Soul 27.5
Ragley Marley
Ragley Piglet
Genesis Latitude (that is looking particularly nice. Must not get caught looking at that one....)
Nukeproof Scout (don't know much about that one)
On-One 45650B
NS Surge Evo
Bird Zero TR
Pipedream Muchuu
Transition Transam 27.5 (if the exchange rate gets more favourable)

What else is there?

I was thinking Soul too, although I'm not sure about tyre clearance.
That said the Latutude is £100 cheaper and looks awesome. Not sure about Mjölnir chromoly. I only heard of it a year ago. Does anyone know if it's any good?

Not sure many 650B frames will have B+ clearance?

Larger sizes are 29" and may take B+

The Bird TR wont take B+ But the AM will, certainly something like a Nobby Nic 2.8, and even betterer if you stick the Sweep HLR on the front you can fit the same tyres in there with room for a mudguard etc.

If you want 650b+ I think you're stuffed unless you get a 29er frame. I think Cotic had some clearance Solaris frames around 3-350 last week?

I love my Soul275. It's stubbornly 135 back end but nice and stiff with an RWS in it. I've got a 2.25 Nic on the back with tons of clearance. No way you're getting fatlite in there I don't think though.

You seem to be torn between two different bikes...
