[#1857406]

My in-laws recently moved to Lincolnshire (Alford/Louth/Mablethorpe area). The last few times we visited I've explored the local bridleways but was wondering if there is anywhere else in the area that I can ride/explore next time I'm there?

- Forests/Woods (waymarked or other wise)?
- Off-road sections of national/regional cycle routes?
- Local MTB clubs?

Cheers,
Verses

A bit of googling has turned up;
http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/the-lincolnshire-mtb-desert
and
http://www.louthnet.com/LAMB/

So that's somewhere to start ๐Ÿ™‚

Indeed, Lincolnshire even seems flat to me and I'm based in Suffolk!

Still, it's not always about bombing down hills, technical single-track's just as fun, I just need to find where it is ๐Ÿ™‚

Plenty of good rolling hills out in the Wolds (Louth way). Would have thought it was easy to do a nice loop, even out to the Wash and back.

Unfortunately I've moved away now so not much help!

Lincolns 30mins from Sherwood pines. Best bet really... I've looped some bridleways together but nothing exciting! Would love to have a crack at the Wolds. Theres an XC race every year there, and every year i miss it! ๐Ÿ™„
