After a new suss frame to transfer some parts on to. Basically I want a 5010 in alloy but don't want to pay the Santa Cruz tax...any ideas?

Preferably not boost, threaded bb would be nice and less than 1500 squids!

Transition Scout springs to mind.

Intense Spider 275A fits the bill.

This won't help.... Just been through the same process, ended up with a 5010, and very glad I did

How tall are you?

V1 so 142mm rear, threaded BB, not alloy tho, only carbon (the better of the 2 models, from before the split to 2 models) I'm afraid...

Are they not 1599 anyway, you should be able to find somewhere to give you a 100 quid off, or a transition scout maybe

Cheers Tom - sadly they only have small left and I need a large.

Bird is a good shout, I had one of the early hardtails and got on well with it. Transition pricing seems to have gone a bit nuts recently but will have a look there too.

Thats exactly what i've just done, global were brilliant + the banshee will take any 26" gear also. I went with the CCDB for a good price too
