2nd the Aizan,I've got one,3.5lb weight,nice and quick steering.
got a giant xtc 29er 1 last month, full bike weighs 27 pounds as is, so plenty of scope to lighten it when monies are more available. rrp is £1400, i paid £1250
isn't there a carbon fibre 29er on-one comming soon?

not barge like in any way shape or form, i bloody loves it i do.
handles just like a 26er. would certainly recommend a test ride at the least.
