Looking for some that pack small and are wind/waterproof. Not expecting much breath-ability. Any suggestions? Cheers.

TBH I dont bother with waterproofs much - I use the singletrack trousers - windproof enough and breathable 🙂 I just get wet 😉

cheers fr, I agree for shorter rides, but looking for something to keep me dry on all/multi-dayers.

I wear Rab Vaporise when the weather is damp. Not totally waterproof but breathe and stay warm.

I bought these last Winter, to replace some Gore XCR ones that were too big. Made from Pac-lite so not hugely durable but very lightweight.

They are good but I actually preferred the XCR ones (pretty certain these aren't made any more) as they had some stretch panels.

Also have the Alp X shorts. Can't you tell I just hate being wet??!!

What's this epic of yours then pedalhead?

Endura event trousers for me. Well made and pretty strong - handy as I also wanted something I could walk in. Not as easy / small to pack as gore alp x for example, but I found the ankle closure quite poor

Ah I'm just stepping up the rides a bit, want to get into some longer endurance type stuff and I've realised I only really have the kit suitable for mincing about in the woods for a few hours!

Oh I see. These would be worth a look at they have some stretch:

Very impressed with my Peter Storms. Bought from LBS years ago but still 100% waterproof and not that sweaty.

I've got some Trespass own brand trousers overtrousers which are great for the money (about 30 quid). Full length zips which zip both ways so dead easy to vent if they start getting a bit steamy!

I only use 3/4 length shorts even in mid Winter - no more catching bottoms of trousers in the chainrings + no more wearing silly bike clips. With warm socks, my lower legs don't get cold at all.

As soon as it's warm/dry enough, I'm in "proper" shorts.
