Hunt wheels. They do a set at 1420g but just above your price range- think there 399.. great wheels though!
Cero AR 30's from Cycle Division. 1395grams and £350.
Very happy with mine - rim brake only though.

Yeh, been impressed with my Hunt disc wheels. Fit and forget, which was not what I was expecting from something with only 24 spokes. Pretty light and stiff aswell. Would buy again!
Just realised the Zuus ones I posted are tubs. Ignore me. Some good bargains on there though.
