Obviously Scandals and seems there's a carbon 29er on the way from on one.
What else is available as a frame for <£400?

Tomac Flint (see CRC), Niner EMD, promised alu/steel versions of Ragley TD-1 when they arrive. If you can get frame only Scott Scale, Giant (I almost got the Giant from states).

Just seen the Flint.
I'll keep an eye out for the Ragley.

i've a kona kula 29
scandium = light

i love mine... SS with 80mm forks and sturdy wheels - kept up with 2 mates on their 5/6" FS bikes at GT...

2010 Kona Unit 29er but with full 27 gears, rigid exotic forks and can keep up if not out run any 26er HT at the mo.

Its quality !
