Right, down to a choice of 3 light
MTB Batteries V2
Magicshine UK MJ-872
See and Be Seen 1200 Cree XML-T6
also with the Magicshine is it worth going for an upgraded battery?
Recommendations please
Of those 3, the 872 for me, then the Smudge, then the See&Be Seen.
Though, that's not to say there aren't better lights now, I'm not up to date. Also shop around for the 872 as they come with different supporting kit- mine came with a better charger than some, frinstance.
If i was buying one i'd add the Gloworm X2, MTB batteries luminator and the Fluxient 3XU2.
then probably get the Luminator. Mainly cos it reminds me of Johnny 5.
Cheers Deus, you are supposed to be making it easier not harder to pick 😉
So it's either;
MTB Batteries V2
MTB Batteries Luminator
Magicshine UK MJ-872
See and Be Seen 1200 Cree XML-T6
Gloworm X2
or
Fluxient 3XU2
anything else for the list?
I bought 2 new lights recently - MJ-872 mounted on the bars for flood, plus Gloworm on the noggin. If I'm being really honest the beam on both of them ain't all that different.
If you buy an MJ-872, bikelightsuk.com have a voucher code MJ-872222 for a tenner off. Seems to work on all their lights, not just the MJ-872
Ended up going for the Gloworm from Neninja, plan will be to eventually use it on the helmet and get something like the Fluxient 3XU2 for the bars.
Thanks for the input everyone.
Thanks guys. As a result of the link and discount code i have just ordered the magicshine MJ 880 2000 lumen light for £119.
Looking forward to giving it a go!
