Are there any other bar mount lights - all-in-one units that are a good alternative?
Is the Joystick really unsuitable as a bar mount light? For the same price as the Maxx-d I could get 2 joysticks - one for the helmet and one for the bars.
got my new maxx D and joystick+3 cell piggyback last week
rode relentless solo on saturday
Joystick is fine to ride at easy climbing pace on its own but for full speed downhilling its nice to be able to turn on the maxx D even to medium.
If i could only have one light it would be the maxxD but if i could stretch id have a race and joystick
oh and they are ****ing excellent lights btw - no complaints at all
I've got a maxx d for the bars and a dx P7 torch for my head, perfect combo IMHO. P7 represents really good value and higher brightness than the exposure and costs about $50 inc charger and batteries
