26" and V-brake compatible. Shimano Deore factory jobs or Shimano hubs/Mavic rims? Alternatives?

Budget? What about something second hand off the classifieds?

I've got a set of Deore V brake only hubs on WTB rims if you're interested.

Toxicsoks,

Good condition, used them for about 6 months before getting disc wheels. Been in cupboard ever since.

Not sure of a price, say £45 collected (Edinburgh) or I can meet within a reasonable distance. Or I can post at cost.

I got a pair of Mavics on Deore hubs late last summer from Merlin for my '91 Cindercone and put ultragatorskins on them, I was 19st at the time so they're strong and the bike fairly shifts now.Think they were about £50, sure they still do them, and they're still running true.
