:?:Recently bought logger jnr a Norco 24" wheeled 'Kompressor'. It's a cracker, but a bit heavy for his 8 yr old legs on the hills. I was thinking of junking the mega heavy Marz Dirt jumper 4 forks as a starter for ten in terms of a diet. Any recommendations for a cheap (light) replacement set of forks ??

Are they 24" specific forks? They look seriously tall in photos!

I'd look for a second hand SID if it's designed around 26" forks, although they'll only be 80mm. Dunno about 24" forks.

2nd hand SID's.... spinners are cheap and light but dont get a great write up, but might be ok for a light weight kiddie... would they need to be specific forks for a 24" wheel though?

Don't think they are 24" specific, lots of space under the fork bridge?

I agree they don't look like it! Definitely second hand SIDs, air sprung as well, so you'll be able to get them nice and soft.

as above, though whould mention you want the old type RS SID's, not the new re-vamped SID's now available (unless you've lots of spare cash)
