Riding home from work at 2 in the morning, coming down the only hill in norfolk which is unlit and with a nice chichane at the bottom. My front lights battery dies. Great fun.
And to make matters worse I decided I wouldnt take my pack with me today and ride without so no spare. Cue a nervous 8 mile ride home along country lanes using guess work and luck. Very cloudy and not much natural light.
Lesson learnt. Always always always carry a spare back up light

Yep - I carry an Olight s10. (Very small and compact light)
Great for trail side repairs with tits floods beam but also medium or full beam give you either plenty of time or light to make it back to where you need to go.

Loving the idea of a tits flood beam, reckon it'll be ideal for doggers.
