...by accident, after a slow speed tumble yesterday, I grabbed the compressed Reverb AXS and pulled the bike up. The dropper fully extended. Seemed to work as normal rest of the ride, I recall this used to maybe cause issues, is it still a thing ?

It used to cause a problem with the initial Reverbs.
I think they fixed it for the "B' revision, but I am still careful with mine.

It's never a good idea but if it didn't cause a problem, it's not caused a problem.
