Has anyone ever used one of these and is the Park Tool kit really worth 220 bucks more??

Will just be used for standard maintenance to bike and for taking apart/rebuild once a year to clean the bike.
You'd be better making up your own one.. some of those tools are going to be redundant.
xan - you are american aren't you? if not wtf - bucks??
Meh. How much of that is relevant to your bike(s)? Cone spanners if you've cartidge-bearing hubs? Crank pullers if you've an external BB? Screwdrivers and Allen Keys (who doesn't have them?!).
IME you're better off buying what you need, when you need it, else it's just money wasted. And better buy "tools, cheap" than "cheap tools", if that makes sense.
Cheers for that.
Racing Ralph - Dry your eyes!!!!
i have done - tears from pissing myself at the faux american!!
Zzzzz wake me up your boring me!!!!
xan, i bought one of these with a few less tools. As someone who loves all kinds of bikes its been a godsend. To start with i didn't know what some tools were for but i have a bang up to date Hemlock, a hardtail with an older BB, the Mrs 04 Rocky Mountain and i've just done up an 80's drop and about to build an old Gt Timberline for her indors to commute on.
If that sounds like you it'll be a bargain..
If you can find the cheaper/less tools version its a bargain. Park tools are no doubt superb but surely overkill for us amatuers
