I got the workstand last year, to be frank I'd save for something better if you can. It will only really work holding the bike by the crossbar. Ive managed to adapt it to hold the seatpost, but its still pretty wobbly.

I get what sweepys saying but how can firms like park tools justify a mark up of 100 notes more than this? I'm sure they're better quality but come on, its essentially a legged post with a clamp... and a poxy tool tray is usually extra!

I have plenty of Aldi's stuff which is ok but that looks like tat.

I just cycled 2 miles whilst stuck in 12 th gear in the dark uphill with a work stand in one arm (GW is my witness). For £29.99 Its got to be worth It even if holds the bike whilst you wash it or for use It for adjust gears or bleeding brakes. I was going to buy a Edinburgh Bike shop one this week anyway. For any Edinburgers there was one left in prestonpans tonight at 9.40.
