Lets not !

Only time I / we Laughed was when I came out of a trail
and went onto a road along side a roadie and he looked at
me in shock I was in full face and body armour and covered in sh*t.
And he was Lycra clad and clean.
He continued West and I went East down a gourge.
Two different worlds

I'm not 10 i'm a typical STW sterotype just like you, the difference is i seem to have a sense of humour, even if it is slightly warped.

No, I don't think he realised what I meant by 'full versatility'.
Besides, what was I supposed to say? 'Thanks for that, I must be fit' (sounds bigheaded), 'Thanks but you must be crap if you think I'm fast' (condescending), 'Well I knew you were there but I let you catch up' (possibly), 'Thanks, & I'm 53 & a stone overwieght' (true, but still doesn't do it)
Maybe I should've said nowt & let him think 'arse'

I laughed because the guys have smoother legs than the girls 😀

roubaix's not as messy as it used to be, still a bloody tough race though

and who's laughing at the roadies being paid to ponce around with models

I did the Paris - Roubaix sportive last year. Tougher and more painful than anything I've ever done on a mountain bike. I do love road riding, though I still call it the darkside and make jokes about my pals who are proper roadies. All part of the fun.

try just riding a bike and having fun children....
