Hi guys, it's probably been done to death but can anyone advise me re: shared transfers to les arcs in summer. Can only find privates for £500-600.

I couldn't find any last year, looked for days and days.

Who are you staying with? Maybe they've got a few guests arriving the same way who can share a shuttle?

We hired a car, £100 for 5 days I think, French registered C3 Cactus, didn't have bikes with us though.

@pedrodelgado hire car will be easiest I think, but be aware of the usual Geneva airport car rental faff: you can rent from either the Swiss side or French side. You have to return the car to the right side, so make sure you know where you're going on the way back.

If you go on any Swiss motorways, you need a motorway vignette (40 euros). Some hire cars have them, some don't. They'll likely nab you on the way back to Geneva at the border if you don't have one.

Ah the funicular, I love the funicular. Especially racing down black 8 to catch the next one.

Sorry, I'm having flashbacks
