I happen to be passing Lee Quarry during work today and want to have a go round. I remember from my previous visits to Bacup though that it's always -32C so I was wondering if it's worth the effort and if I should just go a bit further and ride the lower trails in Calderdale. I'd prefer not to do this as I've been a few times lately and fancy a change.

i was up there the other day when it was soft snow and it was ok but to be honest now its -5 going on - 10 in some places! its all just frozen so im guessing no matter where you go in the area its all going to be frozen solid, if your riding the actual trails at the quarry they should be ok but anywhere out the quarry its just gonna be pretty hard going..
Could be fun getting up the hill to it in the ice.
