[#274394]

I bought a set of Saint brakes of here a while ago. Worked fine for the first couple of rides and after that they seemed to loose their 'gripyness'. Tried bleeding them, changing the pads etc but it didn't help. Apparently they leak slightly in the calipers and this affects the pads.
anyone had this problem? Any solutions (cheapest)?
This is the third pair of brakes I go through and they have all been... crap!
Bought the saint as I wanted a no fuss, as fit and forget, a brake there was.

Just haven't got cash for a new set and just wanna go ride... not brakeless. Help!

had this on my saint m800 front, shimano don't sell seal kits because apparently their seals don't fail due to using mineral oil rather than DOT fluid.

My LBS said they may be able to sent it back to madison to see if they would service it, otherwise it's a new caliper.

you won't get consistant braking from a leaking caliper asit will get oil onto the pads/disc

new saint calipers are about £50 to £70 ish !!! you can buy an SLX brake with lever for about that !

Ahh, I like the fact that they ruled out them leaking in advance! What a pain.
I'll take 'em down to my lbs then.... they where the ones recomending a set of saint 😉

Anyway Thanks
