Just curious really, I fancy setting myself a medium term challenge and this seems to fit the bill nicely.

I think actually getting an entry is as tough as doing the event!

Yep I've done it. Lottery entry, unless you can get in a team which the promoter would like to have race (pretty difficult!)

Similar challenges in colorado include [url= http://vaportrail125.com/ ]The Vapour Trail[/url] (way tougher than the leadville 100!) or [url= http://www.montezumasrevenge.com/ ]the Montezuma's revenge[/url] (no one has ever successfully completed the full course, and lots of people get taken to hospital afterwards.

Forgot to say, Out of all those, the Breck Epic or the Vapour Trail would be my choice. A proper challenge!

am hoping to do it next year, the entry opens in jan 2011 i belieive for that year and it is a lottery, the shop where i work the owner has done the consquestadors (sic)race twice
