Hi, any recommendations for a LBS Macclesfield way? Need to get the road bike serviced and my LBS near work no longer does servicing.

Any suggestions or who to avoid?

Dave

Congleton cycle centre is the best place round here IMO

Cheers. Will take a look. Was hoping for a bit closer to Macc or north towards Manchester, but Congleton is only 20mins down the road so not too far

If you're looking in the Manchester direction, the Bicycle Smithy in Hazel Grove has a good reputation, used often by NBT and MartynS of this parish

+1 for Cycle Centre in Congleton . Top bunch of cyclists with lots of knowledge between them, good stock of kit and sensibly priced as well. You can park close by too if you're driving there.

No longer does servicing? Soon to be 'no longer does trading' I fear...

Nothing else to add, sorry.

The best place I know of locally is In Gear in Poynton. Great set of knowledgeable lads and will bend over backwards for you. They also have dogs on hand in store too.

+1 Congleton Cycle Centre in Congleton and Bicycle Smitty in HG too.

The best in Macclesfield by a long shot is Paul at www.rideandrepair.co.uk

Cheers guys. Just stumbled on "Ride&Repair" via the Macc Wheelers website so might give him a whirl for now
