So I've just done my first change of tyres on tubeless. As far as I can work out the liquid for tubeless is just latex? Has anyone found a cheap alternative to Stans or other branded liquid? Also, I just changed to winter tyres but think I've jump the gun a little but don't want to waste brand new sealant changing back, whats my best option?

I've used latex bought from Hobbycraft and it's worked fine for me.

Put about 100ml in each tyre IIRC.

Latex works, and is what we all used before the proper sealants were available. However it won't seal holes as large as the proper sealants and will freeze in winter. There are some formulations around for DIY sealant with anti-freeze and added stuff to fill larger holes, you'll have to search...
