[#1085100]

Was lucky enough to get my hands on a bit of a bargain frame recently and with the parts i already had plus a few 2nd hand/sale items spent Saturday evening putting this beauty together ๐Ÿ˜€

[img] [/img]

Not managed to get out on it today due to family commitments but had a quick pootle up the road last night and the ride position seems spot on so looking forward to my Tuesday night ride this week.

Not to everyones taste and i know its breaking the law by having a non ss Swift but i like it ๐Ÿ˜‰

Cheers Sam ๐Ÿ˜‰

nice, front mech routing is much easier with the latest cable guided SS Swifts, but you've done a good job, what have you used for the cable stop?

and i bet you've won no friends with what your bars have done to the wall! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Rob its definitely a bike to get shitty and muddy as its going to be my main bike ๐Ÿ˜›

ton - No way, although if i do I'll let you know, even though you wouldn't be interested as your not buying anymore bike for the next 11 months are you โ“

RD the cable stop on the front is one of these http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/product-Problem_Solvers-Backstop-Clamp-On-CNC-Twin-Slotted-Double-Downtube-Cable-Stop-18209.htm It's the neatest option i could find and I'm quite pleased with it tbh

1st ride last night and wow what a bike ๐Ÿ˜€ .

Ok so the bars need to be cut down (flat Sunline 762's) but this bike is in a different league to my previous 29er. Its responsive, flickable (yep i did say that about a 29er) and feels so comfortable. I can see why so few of them come up 2nd hand.

Can't wait till my next ride this Saturday ๐Ÿ˜›
