Is yellow and purple such a bad choice?

yellow frame and purple forks?

You'll end up with a very 1980s feeling mountain bike, I can't help but think, especially when it all inevitably clashes with your clothes too.

Can someone post a photo of some awful 1980s MTB shots with people in bad clothes to show what I mean?

However, if you are digging the colour scheme then that is all that matters.

Yellow and purple go together great, I reckon rhubarb and custard is a great combo for a bike(pinkier purple than those forks ideally though)

well its the fork colour which i'm not digging, for a purple it seems so flat and dull.

do you think it would be better with blue purple or green which could all go blue and purple here, or green here

i'm wondering if the blue will be to 'metalic' for the forks?
