This photo makes it look poo, the saddle is all kinds of wrong, I know.

I make no apologies for the background, its my sons birthday present, which he was playing with in the rain.

Going to Lee Quarry tomorrow to crash off a cliff.

WOW, "club tropicana, drinks are free, there's enough for everyone".

yes, the saddle looks sh1t and the wheels/tyres look all wrong aswell, c+ you must try harder.

You'll be happy with it, I'm sure.

Let us know what you think of the ride when you get back! I'm seriously considering getting myself one but I'm concerned 120mm forks I've got will be a little short for it. What forks are you running?

I'm building my SS this weekend - then off for a trip that will include the Q's & Dartmoor so I need to decide whether to take spanky new SS or ye olde Anthem... or both :D.

Grimy - itsa 456 with a slack head angle, your 120mm forks are right in the middle of what it's designed to use.

think of it as a half price ragley blue pig - sort of...

(i'm convincing myself to buy one, and then run it with 100mm Tora's - because they're cheap as chips. i would like a Blue pig and 2010 revelations, but i haven't got £800)

Thanks Beefy, your bike looks like heaps of fun, my credit card is feeling nervous.

(i'm mentally struggling with a complicated bike re-assessment shuffle)

I run Revelations (100 - 130mm travel), run them at 130mm, which if you read the on one website is exactly what these are designed for.

Anyway, I rode it today at Lee Quarry and what an amazing ride, they have got the figures bang on with this one, the seat angle is bang on for a start, great position for climbing, but then the slack head angle gives a superb light front end.

It works together so well, you feel invincible, my last bikes (Marin hardtail, dmr, two on ones and a giant trance) have all been good, but this feels like something new.

I ran it with a 60mm stem and 710mm bars and it flies down tech stuff like a dream, you are not feeling like you are being pitched forward on steep stuff you have the confidence to just roll over everything.

I love on ones and I would say that this is the ultimate evolution of where they were heading. It is a great climber, descender, all rounder, its chuffin great and every one in the world should get one to show you how much over priced, over marketed bad products are out there and how little you actually need to spend.

Well done on one, you have a life long fan.

I'm starting my build this weekend. Pikes, double & bash, XT wheels etc. Only wish I'd remembered to order a seat clamp with the frame, DOH! 🙄

I built mine with 100mm Rebas, as that was what came off the full sus it has replaced. it is ace. felt odd to begin with as so slack but once used to it is loads of fun.

Have built it up with flats to re-learn a few skills and complement my inbred SS (didnt want my geared bike to be too similar to the ss)

It would probably benefit from a bit more fork, as it seems to encourage going faster / harder than my old bike did. But it isnt holding me back.

Would throroughly recommend one, am wanting to get up to lee quarry for a blast to see how this one handles compared to the singlespeed i used at the Weekender.

Currently running crossmarks and a sensibly short and low stem.

Shhhhhhhh! If you carry on like that everyone will want one. It's bad enough that since I got my beauty 2 others have suddenly appeared in the club.
