I'm looking at getting a Trance, but I can't get my head around the lack of standover.
Anyone have one and care to tell me if you still have functioning family jewels?

Yes, on both counts. I've slid off sideways (on ice) and been over the bars any number if times, but never felt in any danger from the cross bar.

Yes and Yes. You adapt to it. Never had any problems in 14 months.

Plums still in tact. Have a Trance with 120 to 150 mm adj fork, so a bit higher bar position than stock.
Even have a kid on the way, although that was through IVF (so you might want to discount this post).
