Is there such a thing as a balance bike for bigger kids? Most seem to go no bigger than 110cm.
Friend of mine is after one for her son who is 110cm at 5 years old.
They're on a budget as her husband is disabled so cheaper options or 2nd hand options would be good..
Thanks

Yep, when ours was ready to move on from balance bike we bought her a 14" pedal bike and took the pedals off. She scooted around on that for a bit, but ended up with the pedals back on in no time.

I recall someone on here building a custom full size balance bike for a disabled teenager, was fantastic but I suspect very much out of their price range. As said above remove crank/BB and make foot rest from a bit of dowel which be my plan.

Rideback do the scoot in an XL version with 14" wheels.

Strider do a larger model too, but i'd ditto that a normal bike with the pedals off would be a better way to go

Friend has gone for the larger bike with the cranks and BB removed route for her son.
