My acer laptop has been doing updates and now will not connect to the internet. Any ideas?

Does it show as connected, have a look in device manager if there's an exclamation next to the driver.
Bet you just have to press function and f2 though lol.

My daughters laptop had a connection issue that I couldn't put right for ages. Turned out she'd knocked the physical WiFi switch to off without noticing. May not be related at all, but it's the first thing I'd check now.

mine just did exactly the same after yet another widows update.
Pissed on for ages before a system restore seemed to do the trick
