[Closed] Langster - Replacement chainset?

So, I need a new bottom bracket for my Langster, its 68*103 square taper. A quick search suggests these are hard to come by. Anyone know anyone selling one?

Reading previous thread on this subject on here, someone suggested they had fitted an external BB type chainset. Anyone done this?

How did you set it up to maintain the chainline and what model?

Thanks

I had a Tricross singlespeed (same chainline spacing as the langster) and ran a Race Face Deus X-Type crankset with single DH chainring (DMR 38T) and Shimano HT2 bottom bracket, it worked just fine!

I changed mine, got the sugino one, don't remember it being hard to find, e.g;

I'm just running a Shimano one as it was the same size, easily availible and cheap. Got it from 1 of several LBS. can't remember which one but I chose by price.

Finally replaced mine last week after it began to sound like a heap of loose metal fragments inside the BB shell.

Bought a Sugino from VeloSolo, nice and smooth again ๐Ÿ™‚
