Having a look at Pedal north at this route http://pedalnorth.com/rosthwaite-to-grasmere/. Asking would there be any better benefit starting in Grasmere and heading over to Wandlathe from there instead of starting in the Borrowdale valley.
And on a secondary note can you drop off Mardale Ill bell to NanBeild as a Kentmere round might happen yet ?:)
I'd start and finish in Borrowdale, as I have a real soft spot for the Rosthwaite descent, and it'd be lovely to finish with that, and then tea n cake at the flock inn.

Grasmere to rosthwaite is a mega death slog. done once and never since.
