Any groups or persons doing easy ( fat knacker trying to get fitter ) ish day or night rides next week I am staying in Hawkshead for the week and wouldnt mind tagging along but am pretty slow at the moment .

I think that [url= http://www.ridethelakes.co.uk/cms/ ]this[/url] group normally ride from out near there?? Not ridden with them but may be worth getting in touch.

We ride from Biketreks on a Tuesday Evening 6.30 and the pace can be variable dependent on whose out, a few are training for the fred at the minute so your call. Would be a great excuses to see your light though 😆

boggies have an easier ride on a Saturday I think

Was planning a trip down next week myself, possibly Wed. Usually start around Ambleside wherever we can get some free parking and stop off for a coffee and cakes in the Hawkshead cafe nr car park 😉
Probably be me, scotabroad from here and mate BigIan(think Ton!! )
When are you leaving? Will confirm once I get transport organised.
Ian, is there anywhere to park for free down Hawkshead way?

I did a night ride with the chaps from Hawkshead YHA a few years back when on hols in the Lakes - one of them was pretty large! Nice guys and great fun - would recommend.

Sounds good. I will lurk in the vicinity of the YHA. and if they look too much like racing snakes
will slink off . 😳
