Looking for some hivemind suggestions for group accomodation for a weekend in The Lakes.

Ideally based somewhere around Keswick. Could be camping or a bunkhouse - either would be cool.

My immediate thought was camping at Braithwaite, but they have big 'no groups' signs up.

Denton House bunkhouse…followed by Cow Pie at The George, then beers at Dog & Gun. Next.

Did beers (and Goulash) at the Dog and Gun and Cow Pie at the George last week!

Will definitely be introducing both to my clubmates when we get up there! Just need somewhere to sleep in between...

Pretty sure groups are accepted at lane foot farm half a mile north of Braithwaite.

It's a lovely farm site and Gareth the owner is very helpful. I've stayed there a lot and with groups several times. Google it. Give him a call and explain what you are after. If he's not up for it he may well be able to suggest an alternative.
