I am after a new saddle for my wife. Currently to go on an MTB but also a road bike in the future. Would be very grateful to hear any recommendations.

Bontrager make some good ones. My GF is quie fussy and prefers the Bontrager one that came on here 2011 Madone 5.5 over all the Specialized and Selle Italia ones from over the years. But it's worth popping into a shop and getting measured for one. But they are a very personal thing and no 2 arses are the same.

In order for the hive mind to impart any useful, speficic and objective advice on this subject, it may be necessary for you post a life-sized picture of your wife's buttocks. ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

My sister swears by her Specialized womens' Body Geometry saddle, whilst the other half has a men's Specialized Format SL130 - it's all about what suits their shape.

She likes the look of the CHarge Ladle and as I have had a Knife which has been comfortable we are going to give one a go. Thanks for the help.

A vote for going down a Specialized shop and get her ass (sit bones) measured, did this after wasting money on two previous saddles for my partner.
They supply reasonably priced to expensive versions of their own brand saddle, to the specific width of the measurement.
