First quali top step in years plus his result last time? I reckon he's enjoying it all again. Rachel is Rachel, I trust her spidey senses on the hill. And Vali Hoff is just epic.
I was thinking after the last race that Gee could pull off a comeback next season.
I suspect Rachel is holding back sue to all points being awarded on race day.
Lets face it as long as she's top 6 she'll win the over all.
Ed Masters seems to be having a decent few races too - think the EWS has given him a boost.
With no points for qually, what would be the point of Rachy smashing down to qualify first, but at the risk of crashing and spanering herself?
Also, as the track is new, and the weather possibly variable, qually track knowledge is unlikely to count for much in the finals tomorrow.
No points on offer, what's the point in qualifying top?
It's not massive but the top 20 will all be out about the same time anyway so no real weather advantage either.
Id expect the usual to rise to the top come race day
Not sure if that was a good thing having no quali points, just made qualifying a non-event, could have just had another day of practice and sent them down in order of ranking.

Being a protected rider from last years overall rankings means Greg will still be off among last 20 riders in the final
I reckon it could be a proper buttock clenching race. The track is short and looks like there are (relatively) big time gains to be gained but from high tariff lines/moves.

Just caught up, great race. Didn't see that coming in the men's!
I think that Seagrave knows she can definitely do it so next season should be really good too.
