I've just got a new (to me) bike with a KS Lev integra seatpost, previously only had a reverb external. The action seemed really stiff to me, and I've ended putting a new cable in and trying to remove the grease that someone had used to lube the cable, it seems to be improved, but not a light action, although it may be partly residual grease in the outer. Anyway with the monkeying about I've been looking at the mechanism at the bottom of the post and I cant work out if it's meant to be like that or its a bit bent and the hook at the end broken off. The cable end did pop off once although i may not have got it fully in place that time. Does this look right to anyone. It doesn't look quite the same as other images I've seen, but there seem to be a plethera of versions of the post out there.
That looks fine.
I thought it looked a bit short compared to the ones I've fitted, but google image search for "ks lev integra" with "cable" or "connection" shows ones looking exactly the same as yours. If someone's broken/modified yours, they've made a very neat job of it.
It's usually cable issues first with Levs. Probably the grease you mentioned, but also worth checking none of the routing ports in your frame have been wearing away at the outer, and that when you install it, it's not putting any kinks in the cable. Here's what happened to a friend's outer at the post end, because they'd shoved the seatpost down without pulling cable back through the ports:
As it goes mine is sitting on my kitchen worktop at the mo. It looks to me like you are right, and the hook looks a bit short, but I'll compare to mine when I get back. It looks to me that when the lever pulls down it won't be supported on that left side as it should.
Edit: action is likely due to the cable. I replaced the cable on one of mine for proper or and it was significantly better/lighter than the original supplied brand new.
Ah OK thanks, I'm a bit reluctant to replace the outer as well although I might have to. I've been looking at the replacement part for the coupler as it's apparently called. They do seem to have a straight back whereas mine has a slight curve, but probably not significant, I'll look again at the routing.
Double check seatpost clamp torque as Lev integra is sensitive to this. I think it's meant to be about 6nm from memory, if you mix that with some anti slip paste it works great, if you go too tight it makes the post stiff and slow.

Looks ok, just check that the pivot pin for the actuator isn't snapped, as in one of your photos it looks like it night be on a slight angle & I've seen it once before
I replaced the aluminium rocker part on mine, I'd take it out and check it for wear / play if the cables are all ok.
Sorry to jump on this thread but I have a KS Lev Integra issue too.
My 10 month old post has recently started creeping up. I have checked the cable tension as I thought it might be too tight. I also checked the actuator lever to see if it was still pressing on the piston. Both checks seemed ok.
I have also increased and decreased the return air spring but it still creeps up.
Any suggestions before I send it in for a warranty service?
Have you put it down then released all of the cable tension to check if it still happens? Apologies if teaching you to suck eggs, but you should be able to wind tension off at the lever end until the lever has plenty of slop.
Does it also creep down with your weight on it for any sustained amount of time?
Sounds odd. If it's rising slowly, but rises fast when you push the lever, then the oil valve is probably partially open all the time whether due to cable input or an internal problem. If either of those is the case though, I'd still expect the post to sink when weighted (I might be wrong).
@pnik - that look just like mine does. There is a full hoop on one side and a sort of hook on the other.
My post wouldn't stay up or down on Thursdays night ride, tried the easy inner only option and it suffered the same yesterday. ๐ฟ
Today it was a complete new outer, inner and thorough clean of the noodle bit. All set up as per the KS lev site instructions and it's back to perfect. Nice light action, smooth and swift return.
I'd suggest that your issue lies with the old outer and as above, ensure you pull out the outer/inner as you insert the seatpost

The actuator on the bottom of the post looks fine, that's how they are.
I'd be looking at the routing of the outer cable and make sure there's no sharp bends or kinks in it.
@nach- thanks for your advice. No i haven't checked the cable tension with the post fully down. I'll do that next.
The post is rock solid when extended and does not creep down at all.
I'll send it in for a warranty claim if no result with cable tension. Cheers
HTH. Might be an idea to put the post down, remove it from the bike, and disconnect the cable entirely to see what the post does.
