is copaslip a suitable anti-friction compound? or do I need to get some carbon assembly paste?

carbon paste is better as it lets you use less clamping force and thus there's less chance of distorting the seat post outer.

Droppers work best when the seat clamp tension isn't squashing the outer against the internals - carbon paste is there to grip at low torque rather than as "anti friction"

thats annoying. shame they don't put a small tube in the box.
