When EB's Lev came back from a service we were pretty much straight away on holiday. Since the service it occasionally creeps - either creeps up when dropped or creeps down when up (and loaded).
Could this be as simple as the tension on the internal cable being too high? I might be able to adjust this without taking it apart (I've not had a great history taking them apart),
It's definitely not the external cable too tight, even when it's plenty loose we have experienced problems.
If noone is sure I'll speak to the guy who serviced it and see what he can do. If it's simple I'd rather do it without sending it away!

Sounds like it may well be too much tension on the internal cable - yes.
